How the Reel-E trial, billing and cancellation work
Short answer. Reel-E is free to try for 7 days. A card is required to start, nothing is charged during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends you are never charged. We email you 48 hours before the trial ends. On a paid plan, cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for; a confirmation email states that date.
The free trial
- 7 days on any plan, with a card required at checkout. Nothing is charged or held during the trial.
- You pick a plan (Essential, Growth or Pro) and monthly or yearly billing at checkout. That is what the trial turns into.
- During the trial you can make 3 listings with up to 20 photos each, edit in Keylight as much as you like, and use 5 photo edits, 2 AI+ animations and voiceover. Trial videos carry a Reel-E watermark.
- One trial per account.
- Want full access sooner? “End trial now” starts your paid plan early.
When you are charged
- When the trial ends, the card on file is charged for the plan and billing you chose. Your statement reads REEL-E.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $59 a month | $530 a year ($44 a month) |
| Growth | $129 a month | $1,160 a year ($97 a month) |
| Pro | $599 a month | $5,390 a year ($449 a month) |
- After that, the plan renews each month or each year until you cancel. There is no contract.
- About 48 hours before your trial ends, we email you a reminder.
- Upgrades apply right away and are prorated; the app shows the exact amount first. Downgrades apply at the end of the current period.
How to cancel
You can cancel yourself at any time, in about a minute:
- Click your avatar in the top right and open Account & Billing.
- Open Plan & Billing and select Cancel Subscription.
- Choose a reason and add a short note. Both are required.
- We may offer an alternative, such as a pause or a different plan. “No thanks, continue cancelling” goes on.
- Finish with Confirm Cancellation, or End Trial and Cancel during a trial.
Not signed in? The same steps work after you sign in from the link in any Reel-E email or at reel-e.ai.
What happens after you cancel
- During a trial: your card is never charged, and you keep trial access until the trial’s scheduled end.
- On a paid plan: you are not charged again, and you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for. Changed your mind? Resume in the app before that date.
- A confirmation email goes out right away with your end date, a statement that you will not be charged again, what happens to your projects and listing sites, and how to restart.
- Your work is kept for 365 days after your plan ends, with warning emails 30 days and 7 days before anything is removed. Listing websites and share links go offline while the account is inactive and come back automatically if you subscribe again within that time.
- Prefer a break? A paid plan can be paused for 1, 2 or 3 months instead. Nothing is collected while paused (a yearly renewal that falls inside the pause is charged when you resume).
Refunds
Subscription payments are non-refundable under section 9.11 of our Terms of Service, so cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding past ones. We do refund a charge made twice for the same thing, a charge you did not authorize, and a billing error on our side. Email support@reel-e.ai with the date and amount.
A charge you do not recognize
Reel-E bills only by card, monthly or yearly, and the statement reads REEL-E. A charge from REELAI, ReelShort, an app store, PayPal or a weekly subscription is a different company. Contact that merchant or your bank.
