Reel-E vs Amplifiles (2026): Per Listing or Per Image, and What You Get for It

Short answer. Amplifiles and Reel-E both turn listing photos into video with camera motion, AI virtual staging and AI voiceover. Reel-E makes three things from one upload, edited and staged photos, a cinematic video in up to six versions in about two minutes, and a single-property listing website, priced per listing from $44 a month billed yearly ($59 month to month), with unmetered edits. Amplifiles prices per animated image, $1.50 pay as you go or $1.00 to $1.26 on a monthly plan, with 1,200 free credits and no card to start.

Last checked October 21, 2026. Amplifiles figures come from amplifiles.ai, amplifiles.ai/pricing and amplifiles.ai/blog/amplifiles-vs-reel-e on that date; Reel-E figures come from our own product.

What Reel-E includes

  • Edits and re-renders: unmetered. Every plan and the trial. There is no revision count on any Reel-E plan. Change shots, order, movement, length, text, music, voiceover and branding in Keylight Studio as often as you like (trial output is watermarked).
  • AI+ and AI Seamless: 6 per listing on Essential, 10 on Growth, 12 on Pro, 2 on the trial. AI+ brings a photo to life (moving fire, water, foliage, sky); AI Seamless makes an AI bridge of about four seconds between two shots. Studio Effects (Day to dusk, Furniture fills in, Season change, Time lapse, Starry night, 3D sign drop, Helicopter reveal, Sketch to real, Construction, People) use the same allowance.
  • Camera motion on every photo, not metered: Push In, Pull Out, Orbit Left or Orbit Right, chosen automatically or by you, with cuts on the music's beats.
  • Video: widescreen, vertical and square, each branded and unbranded, so up to six versions per listing, in about two minutes to a first video.
  • Virtual staging and photo edits: six staging styles, declutter, day to twilight, Match photo and typed edits up to 500 characters; 10 credits per listing on Essential, 20 on Growth and Pro.
  • AI voiceover: five AI voices (Miles, Maya, Theo, Grant, Nora) or your own recording, English and Spanish, with synced captions.
  • Listing website on every plan, plus an MLS link (the unbranded widescreen video on its own page) and the unbranded widescreen MP4.

Key takeaways

  • Pick Reel-E if you want the whole listing package from one upload: staged and edited photos, the video in six versions and a listing website, with edits that never run out.
  • Pick Amplifiles if your listing volume is uneven and you would rather pay per image with no subscription, or you want free-form prompts and 3 to 15 second clips in its Creative Mode.
  • On AI scene motion (fire, water, sky), Reel-E Essential allows 6 per listing and Pro 12; Amplifiles bills each ambient effect at its per-image rate with no cap.
  • Speed: Reel-E takes about two minutes to a first video; Amplifiles says about 5 minutes.

Two Ways to Pay for the Same Living Room

Amplifiles and I agree on one thing: camera motion and scene motion are different. A push-in across a kitchen is camera motion. Flames moving in the fireplace is scene motion. Where we differ is how to charge for them.

Amplifiles charges for every animated image, whatever the effect: $1.50 each on pay as you go. Reel-E charges for the listing. Camera motion on every photo, all six video versions, the photo edits, the website and every re-render are inside the listing price, and AI scene motion (AI+) comes from a per-listing allowance on top of that.

So the question is not which is cheaper in the abstract. It is which unit matches how you list. A 20-photo listing with three photos that should come alive is a very different bill from an eight-photo condo you post once and forget.

What a 20-Photo Listing Costs

Take a 20-photo listing, every photo moving.

On Amplifiles pay as you go, that is 20 images at $1.50: $30. On its $99 plan (86 images a month at $1.14) the same video is about $23, and the plan covers four of them. Re-animating beyond the free allowance is 50 credits ($0.50) an image, and 4K is 10 credits a second, so a 60-second 4K export adds $6.

On Reel-E Essential, the same listing is one of three included each month: $59 month to month, or $530 a year, about $14.72 a listing if you use all 36. That price already includes the widescreen, vertical and square versions, branded and unbranded, up to 10 photo edits or stagings, six AI+ activations, the listing website and every re-render. On Growth billed yearly it is about $9.67 a listing.

Where Amplifiles wins the math is the slow month. If you list nothing in March, pay as you go costs nothing, while a Reel-E plan still bills (unused listings bank up to 9, 30 or 150, so the March listing is not lost, but the money is spent). If your volume swings hard, that is a real point for Amplifiles.

Scene Motion: What the Allowance Covers

Amplifiles' comparison argues that Reel-E rations scene motion. The numbers it uses are out of date: AI+ is now 6 per listing on Essential, 10 on Growth and 12 on Pro, not 5, 8 and 10.

It is still an allowance, and I think that is the right design for most listings. Moving water in the pool and fire in the fireplace sell a house. Moving water in every bathroom tap does not. Camera motion carries the other photos, and it is never counted. If a listing truly needs scene motion on fifteen photos, Amplifiles' per-image model will serve it better, and I would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Edits Are Not Counted on Reel-E

The other number in Amplifiles' comparison, "5 revisions on Essential and 15 on Growth and Pro", is no longer true of any Reel-E plan. Video edits and re-renders are included and unmetered on every plan and on the trial. Keylight Studio lets you change each shot's movement and length, the order, the framing for each shape, text, music, voiceover and branding, then render again as often as you like.

Amplifiles is generous here too: one free re-animation per image on pay as you go and ten on a plan, then 50 credits each.

Where Each One Is Strong

Where Amplifiles is strong

  • No subscription needed: pay per image, and a month with no listings costs nothing
  • Ambient scene effects (fireplace, water, fans, TV) on as many photos as you pay for
  • Creative Mode: start and end frames, 3 to 15 second clips and free-form prompts
  • 4K on any account, charged per second
  • Voice-overs in more than 30 languages

Where Reel-E is stronger

  • A single-property website for every listing, which Amplifiles says it does not offer
  • Six versions of every video, plus the MLS link, from one upload
  • Unmetered edits and re-renders
  • Virtual staging and photo edits that flow into the video and the website automatically
  • About two minutes to a first video

Choose Amplifiles or Reel-E

Choose Amplifiles if

  • Your listings come in bursts and you want to pay only when you make a video.
  • Many photos per listing need moving fire, water or other scene effects.
  • You want to write your own prompts or set exact clip lengths.
  • You want 4K without a top-tier plan.
  • You narrate in languages other than English and Spanish.

Choose Reel-E if

  • You want staged and edited photos, the video and a listing website from one upload, at one listing price.
  • You post to the MLS, Reels, TikTok and a feed, and want widescreen, vertical and square, branded and unbranded.
  • You want to keep editing without counting re-renders.
  • You list three or more homes a month, where the per-listing price beats per-image math.
  • You list from Redfin, Compass, Coldwell Banker, RE/MAX or your brokerage's site and want to paste the link.
