Connect Reel-E to Microsoft Copilot Studio

This is for people who build agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio (work or school accounts). The Microsoft Copilot app on copilot.microsoft.com does not let you add outside connectors, so Reel-E cannot be added there. Microsoft 365 Copilot reaches outside tools through an agent that someone builds.

Server address: https://www.reel-e.ai/mcp

How you sign in: Sign in to Reel-E (OAuth, dynamic discovery), or a key from Connect an agent.

Credits: anything that uses a credit asks for your confirmation first.

Screens may differ slightly; this guide is checked against the live app before launch.

What you need

  • A Reel-E account. Reel-E is free to try · Cancel anytime.
  • Access to Copilot Studio with permission to edit an agent. Your Power Platform data policy must allow the connector.

Add Reel-E to an agent

  1. Open your agent, go to Tools, click Add a tool, then New tool, then Model Context Protocol.

  2. Server name: Reel-E. Server description: Build and edit real estate listing videos, check listing website and video stats. Server URL: https://www.reel-e.ai/mcp.

  3. Authentication: OAuth 2.0, type Dynamic discovery. Click Create, then Next.

  4. In Add tool choose Create a new connection. Reel-E opens: sign in, choose what the agent may do and press Allow. Then Add to agent.

  5. Test the agent: List my Reel-E listings.

Each person who uses the agent signs in to their own Reel-E account the first time.

Prefer a fixed key? Choose API key with type Header, header name Authorization, and a value of Bearer YOUR_KEY, using a key made in Reel-E Studio (AI Director panel, plug button, Connect an agent). A shared key means everyone using the agent edits as the same Reel-E account, so use sign-in unless one person owns the agent.

What it can and cannot do

Your assistant can look at your listings and videos, change the order of shots, the music, titles, text and branding, check your listing website and video stats, and start a new listing video.

Anything that uses a credit, publishes your website, or starts a new listing waits for your yes, unless you gave that connection permission to go ahead on its own. Every edit has an Undo.

With your permission it can get your finished video ready and give you the download link. It cannot start a plan or change billing, or see other people's listings.

See every tool in the tool reference.

How sign-in works

Most assistants open a Reel-E sign-in page where you choose what they may do (OAuth). Your assistant never sees your password. If an assistant asks for a key instead, make one in Reel-E: open Keylight Studio and the AI Director panel, click the plug button and choose Connect an agent. A key is shown once.

What to say first

  • List my Reel-E listings.
  • Make a listing video from this listing page: (paste a link).

If something goes wrong

  • Dynamic discovery fails. Check the address is exactly https://www.reel-e.ai/mcp. Or choose Dynamic with Authorization URL https://reel-e.ai/connect/keylight and Token URL https://reel-e.ai/oauth/keylight/token. If Copilot Studio shows a callback URL, send it to support@reel-e.ai.
  • Blocked by data policy. Ask your Power Platform admin to allow it.

Disconnect

Remove the tool from the agent and delete the connection in Copilot Studio. In Reel-E go to Account settings, Profile, Connected apps and choose Disconnect.

You stay in control

You decide what the assistant may do. On the sign-in screen, choose Full control, where it does the whole job without stopping, or Ask me first, where anything that uses a credit, publishes your website or starts a new listing waits for your yes in Reel-E. You can pick which listings it can reach. You can disconnect any time in Reel-E under Account settings, Profile, Connected apps, and the connection stops at once. Reel-E only shares what the assistant needs to do what you asked, and your assistant's maker handles it under their own terms.
